How scary is Frontier(s)?
Watching this feels like being trapped in a nightmare that keeps getting worse with no way out. The pace is relentless once things kick off, moving from tense dread into sustained, brutal violence that doesn't let up. The danger here is entirely human, not ghosts or monsters, and the movie doesn't hold back on showing blood and cruelty in graphic detail. This is heavy, upsetting stuff meant to shake you, not a fun scare you laugh off afterward.
On The Horror Database's 0–5 scare profile, Frontier(s) rates psychological 3/5, visceral 5/5, gore 5/5, lingering effect 4/5, and overall intensity 5/5.
