Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines throws a bunch of costumed party-goers into the path of a cannibal family and lets the kills do most of the talking. The pace is quick and mean, jumping from chase to chase with brief lulls instead of building slow dread. There's a lot of blood and body horror on screen, with the fear coming almost entirely from being hunted and torn apart rather than anything that gets under your skin mentally. It's more of a gross, over-the-top gorefest for slasher fans than something that will actually haunt you afterward.
