How scary is Delirium?
It starts slow, settling you into a big empty house and a man's shaky grip on reality, then keeps stretching that unease out rather than rushing to scares. Most of the fear comes from not knowing if what's happening is real or just in his head, so it plays more like a slow mental unraveling than a monster movie. There's little blood and few jolts here; it's more about isolation, paranoia, and things that feel just slightly wrong. Good for someone who likes quiet, creeping dread over loud scares, though it's not the kind of movie that stays with you for long after.
On The Horror Database's 0–5 scare profile, Delirium rates psychological 4/5, visceral 2/5, gore 1/5, lingering effect 2/5, and overall intensity 2/5.
