How Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror scares
Watching this feels more like a slow, low-budget road trip through empty fields than a tightly built scare machine. The pacing drags through a lot of wandering and talking before anything really happens, and when scares do come they're mild jumps rather than deep dread. There's a cult and some creepy kid stuff going on, with a hint of something supernatural behind it all, but it never gets under your skin. This is more cheesy late-90s horror comfort food than anything that will actually haunt you.
