It starts small and quiet, just an empty parking garage on Christmas Eve, then tightens into a long, nasty game of cat and mouse that barely lets up once it kicks in. Most of the fear comes from feeling trapped and hunted with nowhere to run, mixed with the dread of being at the mercy of someone unpredictable. There's real physical danger and a decent amount of blood by the end, but the worse feeling is being cornered and powerless. This is for people who like tense, nasty survival stories more than ghosts or monsters, and don't mind feeling a bit shaken afterward.
