How scary is 31?
It starts fast with a kidnapping and then barely lets up, throwing you straight into a nonstop survival ordeal that runs almost in real time. The scares come from brutal, in-your-face violence and constant physical danger rather than slow dread or jump scares. It's grimy, loud, and mean-spirited, more about enduring chaos and cruelty than being spooked by atmosphere. This one is for people who want an intense, nasty, punishing watch rather than a fun scare or a deep psychological creep-out.
On The Horror Database's 0–5 scare profile, 31 rates psychological 2/5, visceral 5/5, gore 5/5, lingering effect 3/5, and overall intensity 5/5.
