How Don't Blink scares
It starts almost like a mystery movie, with a group finding a resort that's been abandoned mid-meal and mid-conversation, and the horror creeps in slowly as they try to figure out what happened. As the group realizes something is picking them off one by one without any visible cause, the tension builds through unease and confusion rather than loud scares. There's very little blood here; the fear comes from not knowing what the threat even is and the creeping sense that no one is safe. It's a good pick if you like slower, puzzle-like horror over gore or jump scares.
