Insidious: Chapter 3 leans hard into loud, sudden jolts, using dark rooms and creeping camera moves to set up its scares before hitting you with a sting. The threat here is ghostly and demonic rather than human, built around a spooky psychic and a shadowy other-world full of lurking figures. It stays pretty clean on gore, keeping the fear more about spooky imagery and startle moments than anything graphic or upsetting. This is easy, fun-scary viewing for a group night, not something that will leave you shaken afterward.
