How scary is Shadow in the Cloud?
It starts tight and claustrophobic, trapped in a tiny gun turret with a hostile crew, before opening up into a wild, over-the-top monster fight in the sky. The scares lean more toward action-movie jolts and creature attacks than slow dread, so tension builds fast and then explodes into chaos. It's more of a fun, adrenaline-pumping ride with a nasty little monster than something that will actually haunt you. Good for people who want a horror movie with more punching and shooting than quiet fear.
On The Horror Database's 0–5 scare profile, Shadow in the Cloud rates psychological 2/5, visceral 4/5, gore 3/5, lingering effect 1/5, and overall intensity 3/5.
