How scary is Antibirth?
Antibirth drifts through a haze of drugs and paranoia, so the fear creeps in sideways rather than jumping out at you. Most of the runtime feels woozy and disorienting, like a bad trip that won't end, with reality and hallucination blurring together. Then the body horror kicks in hard near the end, turning queasy and grotesque in a way that's hard to shake. It's more of a strange, unsettling watch than a scary one in the traditional sense, best for people who like weird, off-kilter horror over jump scares.
On The Horror Database's 0–5 scare profile, Antibirth rates psychological 4/5, visceral 3/5, gore 3/5, lingering effect 3/5, and overall intensity 3/5.
