How scary is Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead?
You'll spend most of this laughing more than flinching, since it plays like an action comedy that just happens to be covered in blood. The pace is fast and chaotic, packed with over-the-top zombie battles, silly gadgets, and absurd set pieces rather than slow dread. Blood and body parts fly constantly, but it's played so cartoonishly that it feels more like a gross joke than a real scare. This is a great pick if you want to laugh and cringe at ridiculous gore with friends, not if you want to feel unsettled.
On The Horror Database's 0–5 scare profile, Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead rates psychological 1/5, visceral 4/5, gore 5/5, lingering effect 1/5, and overall intensity 3/5.
