A man awakes to find himself trapped in a dirty, confined crawlspace. He barely has enough room to move. He also has no memory of why he's there, or why he's bleeding from a stomach wound. Apparently drugged, he occasionally 'zones out' of his surroundings as he tries to edge towards his way to freedom. But the more he explores, the more pain he has to endure, and the more frightening his predicament becomes.

Haze traps you in tight, dark spaces with a man who can barely move, and the camera stays so close you feel every scrape and strain along with him. There's almost no music or dialogue, just heavy breathing, wet sounds, and grinding metal, which makes the whole thing feel suffocating rather than jumpy. The fear here is really about the body, pain, tight spaces, and not knowing what's going on, more than ghosts or monsters. It's a rough, physically uncomfortable watch made for people who like extreme, stripped-down horror rather than a fun scare.
