Demons throws a bunch of strangers into a movie theater and then turns the whole night into a chaotic, gory mess once the creatures show up. It moves fast once things kick off, with practical gore effects, screaming, and monster attacks driving most of the runtime rather than quiet dread. This is more of a wild, over-the-top splatter ride than something that gets under your skin psychologically. Great pick if you want a fun, campy, blood-soaked 80s horror night rather than something that leaves you shaken.
