How Terrifier 2 scares
Watching this feels like being trapped in a room with something that enjoys hurting people and takes its time doing it. The pace is long and drawn out, with stretches of quiet dread before scenes of drawn-out, extremely graphic violence that go on far longer than most horror movies would dare. The killer has an otherworldly, almost supernatural edge to him, but the fear here is mostly about watching bodies get destroyed, not jump scares or mind games.
