How scary is Bed Rest?
Bed Rest leans on the helplessness of being stuck in one place, using a pregnant woman confined to her bed as the engine for its dread. Most of the fear comes from things glimpsed at the edge of the frame and a growing sense that the house itself isn't safe, with a handful of jolts breaking up the quieter stretches. It's more of a moody haunted-house mystery than an all-out gross-out horror, so there's not much blood or violence on screen. This one is a decent pick if you want something atmospheric and a little sad rather than something that leaves you shaking.
