How Meander scares
The movie locks you into a tight, maze-like tube almost immediately and never lets up, running on a ticking clock that forces the pace into short, frantic bursts of movement and danger. It cuts between the tense crawl-or-die survival scenes and quieter emotional flashbacks, so the dread of physical danger keeps getting mixed with grief and guilt from the main character's past. The scares lean more into bodily danger, burns, and tight spaces than into ghosts or jump-out shocks, though there are sudden bursts of violence.
