How Feral scares
It opens like a quiet camping trip movie, with friends joking around in the woods, before curdling into something much nastier once the infection starts spreading. The back half turns into a tense, physical fight for survival, with the real horror coming from not knowing who around you is turning next. It leans more on chases, bites, and bloody struggles than on jump scares, so the fear is more about being hunted than about being startled. This is a rougher, low-budget horror movie for people who like body horror and survival tension more than polish or a lasting sense of dread.
