It starts slow and quiet, following a woman just trying to survive in a new city, and only gradually lets you see that something is deeply wrong with the house she's staying in. The dread builds room by room rather than through jump scares, with unsettling sounds and glimpses of something not right just out of sight. Once the truth starts to surface, the movie shifts into more physical, nightmarish territory, mixing body horror with a real sense of being trapped and powerless. It's less about being startled and more about a slow, sinking feeling that something awful is closing in.
