It Comes at Night builds almost entirely through tension, silence, and the fear of other people rather than any monster or ghost. The pace is slow and quiet, with long stretches of unease as trust breaks down between two families sharing a house against a threat that's never fully explained. There's very little blood and almost no jump scares here; the dread comes from paranoia, isolation, and not knowing who to believe. It's a heavy, uncomfortable watch better suited to someone who wants to feel unsettled and sit with that feeling, not someone looking for fun scares.
